| Maryland RV Campgrounds and Travel Information |
Maryland is a diverse Mid-Atlantic state ; you can traverse the entire state in
less than one hour (North/South across Hagerstown), or up to seven hours to
(East/West from Pocomoke to Deep Creek).
Maryland offers a variety of different sights and destinations within it's
boundaries: You can relax on the beaches of Assateague or Ocean City, fish
the Chesapeake Bay, or go hiking and skiing in the Western mountains.
This state is a veritable sportsman's playground, with lots of fishing in the
Atlantic Ocean and Chesapeake Bay, and hunting in the fields and woods.
We live in Eastern Maryland near the Chesapeake Bay, about one hour from
the Atlantic Ocean. When we weekend camp with the children, we try to stay
within three hours of home. These are our favorite spots.
